2nd Writing Competition for Somali Students BAKAAL is again proud to announce The 2010 Writing Competition for Somali Students around the world The Prize - Up to $1000 for University students & Up to $500 for high school students
This is the second writing competition for the Somali Students around the world. The winner of last year's competition was Mohamed Hersi of Footscray City College, Melbourne Australia. Maybe this year, you could be the winner. To be eligible to enter this competition you must be a Somali high school or University student. The winner will be selected by independent assessors from various universities. Here is another opportunity to share your ideas and showcase your writing skills...and win a prize. The topic for this year's writing competition is the following:
What Role can the Somalis living outside the country play in rebuilding Somalia?
For high school students, your paper must be 800-1000 words. For university students, your paper must be 2000-2500 words. Use MS word if possible or any plain text format document will be fine.
